All Aboard The Failboat! (Fail Talk) Greetings sifters! Behold the channel for people being dumb. Just dumb. The main difference between EIA and fail is simply EIA requires actions that prevent you from reproducing...fail is just being damn stupid, so please, bring all your fail and dump it here!    New Channel - *Fail (Eia Talk) I was wondering what the sift collective thought about a new *fail channel? In recent months its become more apparant that people doing stupid dangerous things to themselves or others is definitely eia channel content - but people doing the classic *fail - anything from politics to kids - is having to put up with a simple tag.
No more I say! We need a *fail channel! And I want to make it  Also recently EIA is also taking in more serious videos regarding Darwinian content and science on evolution - so this would be a nice separation of science and stupid. Whats the rule with playlists? If I want to post a video and all its parts - say I post 'Part 1' of a documentary or piece ... can I make a playlist in my YouTube account linking all the video parts and embed it, or would this be considered filthy and evil and ban worthy self linking? Bare in mind the playlist is only made for videosift - thoughts and suggestions? I see a lots of long videos that have links to next part in the description and just want to have it all as 1 embed ThanksSticky Solutions... I know some people join videosift and don't care for the self linking rule (and get banned) but to help people new here who may not realise they are breaking a rule can we have an "are you sure" screen once they submit their first video? What I mean is once they hit "submit" on their first post I window posts up asking them to "check" the box stating ________________________________________________________________________ [ ] This is not your own video or associated with you. (a selflink) ( guidelines) [ ] This video is not porn or snuff [ ] This video does not break any of the videosift rules. Submit! Cancel ________________________________________________________________________ This message only appears on a members first video submission. After that, its business as usual. Any thoughts? I know some people don't care for rules, but it would be nice to ensure people who get banned are actively breaking the rules and not by mistake. Um, today I accidentally downvoted a video, videosift normally warns you you are about to downvote  http://www.videosift.com/video/Beef-and-Go also http://www.videosift.com/video/Star-Wars-Clone-Wars-animated-series-trailer arse. So - I want to know - is this a change to gold star, a change in general, or a videosift "special feature" (or f**k up as it's sometimes known) It does say "Be careful downvotig as you cannot change your mind" but at least if you accidentally upvote its not as bad as down voting... Personally I want this back, or at least a profile option "Ask before Downvote" for example. Actually that would be cool What does every one else thing? I have FireFox 2.0.0.14 and all of a sudden last night it stops loading YouTube video players (at the bottom it says "Done" so all page loaded) I go to Internet Explorer and...all work fine Is this happening to anyone else?
